Research-Led Innovation in Thai Healthcare
Medtronic wanted to identify opportunity areas in the Cardiac Therapy in Thailand.
Approach
A deep ethnography research executed in Bangkok involved meeting with various stakeholders including the government policy makers, surgeons, patients and their caregivers. Long hours of synthesis sessions led to identification of meaningful and actionable insights along with mapping the user journeys and the persona.
Impact
The deep immersion helped to learn about various slayers of complexities involved in providing desired health care. Of the many ideas that emerged out of ideation workshop, the client has now progressed to make a prototype of a new product that meets the needs of all stakeholders involved.
